Trainee Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking a talented individual with the passion and dedication to become a future leader in our business. Through our established programme you will gain invaluable knowledge of our business and have a broad range of work experience whilst studying to become a CIMA qualified accountant. Your study for a professional accountancy qualification will be in tandem with your everyday rotational work placements. You will be supported to achieve this; however it will be challenging and will require dedication to both the day job and your studies throughout the programme. Your base will be Castleford, West Yorkshire however you will be required to spend significant periods of time at other locations across the North East and Yorkshire. Where necessary, you will be provided with overnight accommodation and subsistence allowances.

Customer Service Improvement Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Customer Service Improvement Manager to join Northern Powergrid. As a dedicated Customer Service Improvement Manager you will design, influence and lead a collaborative cross-functional Customer Service Improvement programme within Northern Powergrid to improve the customer experience to secure a leading industry position on customer satisfaction. Smart Grid Development Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our new Smart Grid Implementation team set up to deliver our business commitments relating to smart grids. The opportunity comes at a time of significant and fascinating change for the engineers in the sector. The successful candidates will have a solid understanding of electrical power systems and a desire to understand and overcome the exciting power system challenges arising from the connection of low carbon technologies by our customers. They will also be self-starters with a track record of taking the initiative and implementing demonstrable improvements in their previous role(s).
