We require the same standard for our suppliers and believe quality, service and value for money are best achieved when we work together toward common goals. If you would like to become a supplier of goods, services or works to Northern Powergrid, there are a number of pre-requisites.
Supplier qualification
For those goods, services and works where contracts exceed the thresholds set out by the European Council Directive 93/38/EEC, a registration system – The Utilities Vendor Database (UVDB) is operated on our behalf by Achilles Information Limited. If you are already registered on the UVDB, then you do not need to reapply, but we would encourage you to ensure that you are registered under all relevant product categories.
