Information required
In order to request a service disconnection, please complete and return an application form that includes a site plan showing the location of the service/s to be disconnected in relation to any nearby buildings and roads. We will not be able to progress your enquiry without the completed form and site plan. Where possible please provide the MPAN number/s (these can be found on the electricity account) and meter serial number/s (this can be found on the meter). Wherever possible the supplier for the property should be notified to ensure arrangements are made to remove the meter. Please either download, print and post an application form or fill in and email an online application form.
Quotations and lead times
After the application form has been received, a quotation for the disconnection work will be issued within the following timescales:
Multiple LV < 5 premises 15 working days
Multiple LV > 5 premises 25 working days
HV site 35 working days
Once this quotation has been accepted, we will contact you to agree a work date. The lead time for completing the disconnection/s is a minimum of twelve weeks. These timescales are subject to any requirements under the Traffic Management Act.

For safety reasons, please treat all our electrical equipment at the premises as ‘live’ until you are in possession of written confirmation that it has been disconnected from all sources of supply.
