Andy Bilclough, Northern Powergrid's Director of Field Operations, said: “It’s an exciting time to join the energy industry with net zero and decarbonisation driving some of the most significant changes for energy networks in decades.
“We're looking to attract a diverse group of high calibre individuals to join our business, kickstart their careers and be part of our ambitious plans to improve our power network, creating a greener energy system that supports low carbon technologies like electric vehicles, heat pumps and battery storage.”
Andy added: “Our Graduates and Technical Trainees will gain the necessary skills to help us create the energy system of the future. They will gain an insight into all aspects of our business and be coached and mentored by our experienced colleagues. At the end of the programmes, opportunities will be available in Asset Management, Telecoms, Field Operations, and Operational Technology.”
