At Northern Powergrid we do our best to provide an accurate estimate of the time by which your power will be restored. However, if we have shown a time, please be aware that it is an estimate and may change depending on the nature and complexity of the power cut. In any event, you can be assured that Team Powergrid is working hard to restore your power as quickly as possible.
Please note we will update the estimated time of restoration on our web site if new information becomes available to us. You can also receive updates by text message, if you wish, by using our online power cut logger. This proactive service saves you calling our Contact Centre, which will provide you with the same information.
If we are unable to provide an estimate of the time by which your power will be restored, we will be working to identify the cause of the power cut, the location of the problem and how to fix it. We will then be able to provide you with that estimated time.
